Cuneo è stato il pretesto per revisitare uno dei piú significati elementi
compositivi dell'architettura di Sebastiano Serlio (1475-1554).
L'ambiente su cui si affaccia il locale, una grande piazza
porticata richiedeva un intervento che tenesse conto dei precisi ritmi
architettonici e della scansione del porticato stesso. Ne é risultato uno
spazio rivisutto scandito da tre quinte scenographique, terminante con uno
specchio usato per fondale in modo da raddoppiare virtualmente la dimensione
limitata del locale. Attraversando questo ambiente si ha la precisa sensazione
di una rilettura in chiave parodistica e allegorica di una architettura
cinquecentesca ove scenografia e teatralità sono stati i criteri informatori."
