We have obtained these instruments on the basis of a conceptual and operative method we have been elaborating and perfecting since the end of the 1960s: the CRITICAL MANNERISM. In this case, our interest was directed particulary to the following points:
- visually evidencing historical references in their complexity
- illusion, doubting, irony, also of a self-critical type
- estrangement, destruction, parody
