"SITE's
first project for BEST, in 1972, was not a new building but simply an
alteration of an existing one. SITE added a veneer of brick to make a wall that
looks as if it is peeling away from the building. This modest intervention
removes the building from the real of anonymity without introducing questions
of architectural design. Instead it undermines the logic of the building with a
modification that implies ultimate destruction"

Drexler, 1979, p.8-10)
