ARQUITECTURA CON FECHA DE CADUCIDAD. 1968 Community Center as a straddle structure [Hardy, Holzman & Pfeiffer]

Sin duda alguna, desde la aparición del proyecto para un Fun Palace [1961/63] de Cedric Price, muchos arquitectos se cuestionan la fecha de caducidad de sus arquitecturas, parámetro antes incuestionable. Este proyecto de Hardy, Holzman y Pfeiffer propone la reutilización de una antígua zona naviera de Brooklyn a partir de una estructura temporal que sirva de centro de operaciones de la nueva zona en desarrollo y del barrio ya consolidado existente.
